Citizens decide
Each participant records their own investment out of the €200 000 inheritance and the salary they are willing to accept.
The CEO closes the round
Financing, R&D, wage, workforce and the wheat selling offer are submitted for the whole company.
The market clears
The aggregate demand curve meets the offers of every company and sets the equilibrium price.
Reports are published
Cash flow, balance sheet, income statement and each citizen's personal balance sheet, ready to discuss.
Negotiation, teamwork and team building
Golden Valley is much more than an accounting exercise: citizens, investors and CEOs must negotiate salaries and investment stakes, reach agreements and defend them in front of the group. Each company only wins when the team decides together, listens to every member and aligns interests — which makes the simulation a powerful team building activity for classrooms, companies and executive programmes.
